Halo: Combat Evolved, ou simplesmente "Halo" é um jogo de tiro em primeira pessoa produzido pela subsidiária da Microsoft Game Studios, Bungie[1]. Lançado inicialmente em 2001 para o console da Microsoft Xbox. O Halo é um enorme habitat espacial em forma de anel, que fica em um campo gravitacional entre um planeta e sua lua, o que causa a sua rotação gravitacional. No jogo, o jogador assume o papel de Master Chief, um supersoldado com uma armadura de batalha (Mjolnir Mark V)para aumento de performance. Em nenhum dos jogos da série Halo foi mostrado o seu rosto. Master Chief é acompanhado por Cortana, uma Inteligência Artificial que está em seu capacete. O jogador enfrenta uma aliança de raças alienígenas durante o jogo, tanto a pé quanto em veículos, enquanto tenta descobrir o segredo de Halo. O jogo rivaliza com jogos extremamente inovadores, como GoldenEye 007, ou Half-Life. “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3” está entre nós, erguido como um novo deus da mitologia moderna prometendo consumir horas e mais horas de milhões de pessoas ao redor do globo. Após vender 6,5 milhões de unidades logo em sua estreia, pode ser considerado o maior lançamento do mundo do entretenimento em 2011.

História cinematográfica e multiplayer polido foram os ingredientes para que a Activision fincasse o pé como a maior empresa de games da atualidade, mostrando como seria uma terceira guerra mundial nos tempos modernos – e é isso o que faz de “Modern Warfare 3” um jogo ímpar que nem mesmo competidores de peso como “Battlefield 3” consigam arranhar sua imagem. Este é o jogo que você vai viver e respirar pelos próximos meses e que vai ficar no seu videogame (ou computador) até a chegada do próximo “Call of Duty”.

Introdução


Foi declarada a Terceira Guerra Mundial. Não há lugar seguro no planeta, ninguém tem como passar por esse conflito ileso. Esse é o mote de “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3”, um jogo que todos sabem o que esperar: ação e adrenalina no sangue, seja no modo solo ou no multiplayer. Prepare-se, pois a guerra começa agora.

Pontos Positivos

  • História empolgante
  • O modo multiplayer sempre foi a cereja do bolo em todos os jogos da série “Call of Duty”, entretanto, isso não quer dizer que o modo de história é tratado com menos cuidado. Na verdade percebemos que agora houve até um cuidado maior por parte dos produtores, cotando como seria uma terceira guerra mundial nos dias de hoje. Acampanha ainda é linear e quase “sobre trilhos”, mas isso serve para deixar a impressão de que o jogador está jogando um filme de cinema. O modo solo pode ser terminado em menos de seis horas para quem já está acostumado com o ritmo frenético. As duas primeiras horas são as mais confusas, mesmo sendo muito empolgantes. É difícil entender claramente o que está acontecendo em meio a helicópteros sendo abatidos, invasões em submarinos e coisas do tipo. A única coisa que você é informado é que Makarov é um cara muito perigoso e está em algum lugar nos EUA e você tem que acha-lo, sem que para isso seja necessário causar o terror em Nova Iorque, Paris e em outros lugares do mundo. Mas mesmo com essa complicação toda no início do jogo, é impossível não ficar empolgado com a ação incessante. Passado esse ponto, a aventura começa fazer mais sentido e as motivações para seu personagem começam ficar mais claras e convincentes. Depois de tanto correr de um ponto a outro do mapa e ‘sentar o dedo’ nos alvos controlados pelo computador, você começa a se sentir parte do ‘mundo’ criado pelos produtores. Quando os créditos começam a rolar, você fica feliz por saber que daqui dois anos vai existir um “Modern Warfare 4” – afinal, o jogo termina com uma bela deixa para continuação.
  • A evolução do multiplayer
  • Não há o que temer: o modo multiplayer continua sendo muito parecido com o que você já está acostumado – e isso também é um ponto negativo, como você pode ver mais adiante. Os modos que você conhece como team deathmatch, demolition e hardcore estão lá e funcionam do jeito de sempre. Houve algumas mudanças significativas nas recompensas de killstreaks (quantidade de inimigos abatidos em sequência). Agora os jogadores podem escolher entre três pacotes. O primeiro deles é o Assault, para quem é especialista no gatilho e consegue derrubar o time adversário em um piscar de olhos. Esses jogadores serão recompensados com drones de ataque, mísseis ar-terra e outras firulas que vão continuar aumentando o seu número de vítimas na partida. O pacote Support são mais defensivos e equipam seus killstreaks com metralhadoras montadas, sondas de reconhecimento e outras ferramentas que vão ajudar apenas seu personagem, mas a equipe inteira. Esse pacote tem uma vantagem sobre os outros, pois a quantidade de inimigos não é zerada depois que o jogador morre, ou seja, quem nunca conseguiu soltar um míssil nuclear em uma partida vai ter mais chances de usar suas ferramentas. O terceiro e ultimo pacote é o Specialist, que é voltado para o jogador tático em diversos tipos de jogo. Os killstreaks vão habilitando mais perks (habilidades) conforme o jogador consegue fazer uma fileira de mortos. O jogador começa com os três perks que escolheu na hora de criar a classe e durante a partida vai ganhando outras habilidades – e se conseguir viver tempo suficiente, pode até se tornar mais mortal que um míssil teleguiado. É claro que este deve ser um dos principais pacotes para os jogadores mais dedicados de “Call of Duty”.
  • Modo Operações Especiais é excelente
  • Quem gostou do modo de campanha e quer dar uma pausa do modo multiplayer competitivo, existe ainda uma área a explorar: o modo Spec Ops. Ele coloca jogadores em partidas cooperativas bem similares com o que foi visto em “Modern Warfare 2” e ainda o modo de sobrevivência similar ao Horde da série “Gears of War”. Nele os jogadores têm que enfrentar ondas e mais ondas de inimigos, cachorros e veículos. E só esse modo vai consumir muito, mas muito tempo dos jogadores.
  • Para jogadores de Elite
  • Em conjunto com o jogo, vem a rede social/serviço Call of Duty Elite, que oferece uma profunda análise do comportamento dos jogadores nas partidas. Com ele é possível ver quantos tiros foram acertados, quantos foram disparados em vão, criação e manutenção de clãs, as partes do mapa que você mais sofreu ataques e assim por diante. Esse serviço é bem similar ao que já existe como o Halo Waypoint e MyResistance.net, só que mais completo e cheios de estatísticas – algo que os norte-americanos são simplesmente ficcionados.
    É possível também adicionar amigos de outras redes para fazer comparativos. Ou seja, se você joga no PS3 e seu amigo no X360, ainda é possível traçar e conferir o desempenho de cada um. Além disso o pacote Elite é uma forma de “garantir” antecipadamente o download dos próximos seis pacotes de mapas que chegarem nas lojas virtuais.
